AGING …

i often noticed, kapag nag-bru-birthday ang isang taong may FACEBOOK account, ang ginagawa nilang picture  ay ung baby picture nila.. cguro dahil gusto nilang balikan ung mga nakaraan sa buhay nila (childhood memories).. o posible namang ayaw nilang masabihan ng iba na TUMATANDA na sila. :)))

awkward right? dati, we always wanted to grow up and to be more matured.. but now we are old enough, we always wish to go back to the past and to play like a kid again.. UGH! stressful kung iisipin natin ang ganung bagay.. but i guess it’s part of our life. it’s the sense of our being here on earth! :)

Shamcey Supsup, a 25-year-old beauty from the Philippines, was the third runner-up for the pageant. Tony Award winner Lea Salonga asked Lopes the final question that would help her win the pageant. She asked Lopes: “If you could change one of your personal characteristics, which one would it be and why?” Lopes replied: “Thank God, I’m very well satisfied with the way God created me and I would not change a thing. I consider myself a woman with inner beauty. I have my principles. I have acquired many wonderful principles from my family and I plan to follow this through the rest of my life.” Supsup, meanwhile, was one of the strongest contestants in the competition, placing first in the final fan rankings. In the crucial question and answer portion, she said she would not change her religion just to marry the person she loves. “If I had to change my religious beliefs, I would not marry the person that I love because the first person that I love is God who created me and I have my faith and my principles and this is what makes me who I am. FAMILY CODEs TITLE VI- Chapter 4. Legitimated Children

Art. 177. Only children conceived and born outside of wedlock of parents who, at the time of the conception of the former, were not disqualified by any impediment to marry each other may be legitimated. (269a)

 

Art. 178. Legitimation shall take place by a subsequent valid marriage between parents. The annulment of a voidable marriage shall not affect the legitimation. (270a)

 

Art. 179. Legitimated children shall enjoy the same rights as legitimate children. (272a)

 

Art. 180. The effects of legitimation shall retroact to the time of the child’s birth. (273a)

 

Art. 181. The legitimation of children who died before the celebration of the marriage shall benefit their descendants. (274)

 

Art. 182. Legitimation may be impugned only by those who are prejudiced in their rights, within five years from the time their cause of action accrues. (275a)
